Terms & Conditions
These conditions set out the terms of contract between you and IP International Projects.
How to enrol?
You can easily book online. Arrange for payment of £150 / 220€ deposit or, if you are enrolling on a programme starting within 28 days, your full fees.
As soon as we receive your booking form we will confirm your acceptance and send you a booking confirmation and an invoice for the full fees. Your full fees are due 28 days prior to commencement of your programme.
It is the applicant’s responsibility to ensure that he/she has a valid passport and obtains appropriate documentation for entry to the hosting country. IP International Projects does not accept any liability for financial loss incurred by failure to have the correct travel documentation.
How to pay?
Deposit and full fees may be paid in the following ways:
- Direct money transfer to our bank account. £10 / 15 Euro bank charges will apply (account details given on invoice)
- Credit card (Visa/American Express/MasterCard only)
Cancellations
Cancellations must be made in writing to International Projects. Fees will be retained according to when notice is received.
- 60 days or more - £50 / 80 Euro deposit retained
- 30 days or more - £100 / 160 Euro deposit retained
- 29-8 days – 50% of the total course fees retained
- 7 days or less – total fees retained.
If there is insufficient demand for any of our courses or centres, IP International Projects reserves the right to offer an alternative course or centre or, as a last resort to cancel and refund the course fees.
Shortening a Programme
If you wish to shorten the length of your programme once you have started, fees cannot be refunded.
Non-arrival, late arrivals and absences
If you fail to arrive or arrive late or are absent during your programme, no refund will be granted. Periods of absence may not be made up with a free extension at the end of the course.
Transfers on arrival / departure
Please note that it is your responsibility to provide us with arrival / departure details minimum 14 working days prior to transfer - failing this, we may not be able to provide transfer as requested.
Liability and Health Insurance
IP International Projects, its representatives, partners and staff are not liable for any loss, damage, illness or injury to persons or property however caused except where such liability is imposed by statute. It is the student’s responsibility to take out personal insurance against all risks, including ability to attend or continue a course and insurance for the payment of medical expenses. Before student travel, he/she should seek advice from the health authorities in their home country about what treatment will be covered in the destination country.
We strongly recommend that you take out insurance for your own financial and personal security. You can take out your own insurance or take out the travel insurance offered by our partner organization.
Complaints
Complaints must be made in writing and submitted to IP International Projects while the student is attending the course. Complaints will not be given consideration after a student has completed the course. Please bear in mind, that customs may vary from country to country and from host to host.
Rules & Regulations
IP International Projects reserves the right to exclude participants from their programmes or remove them from their accommodation due to poor discipline or attendance. In such cases, there will be no refund of fees, and IP International Projects takes no responsibility for providing alternative accommodation and all transportation and related costs will be the sole responsibility of the participant/parent.
Changes to programmes
IP International Projects is at times forced to make changes to services and reserve the right to do so. If a significant change needs to be made, the applicant will be informed as soon as possible about the necessary changes prior to their departure. Please note that IP International Projects will not be held responsible for any travel costs incurred. IP International Projects reserves the right to cancel courses or merge classes due to insufficient student numbers, or to run classes in the morning or afternoon as necessary.
Further information
Approximately 10 days before the start of your language course, you’ll receive more detailed information, giving you the address of the school and your accommodation and what to do on the first day. Information about the languages spoken by the staff in the chosen course centre will be available prior to departure.
Insolvency
Insolvency is covered by “reisegarant”
