French schools Antibes – Learn French on the French Riviera

Antibes

25 kilometres of one of the most beautiful coastlines on the French Riviera make Antibes and the seaside resort Juan-les-Pins a great destination for a summer holiday. With its Mediterranean climate - lots of sunny days and high temperatures all through the summer - this is the perfect spot for your French school! Antibes itself has an attractive historic city centre with a maze of small streets. It is also famous for having one of the biggest marinas in Europe, where you can see some of the world’s most expensive luxury yachts. Antibes is one of the oldest cities in the Côte d’Azur, founded by the Greeks in 340 BC. It’s old name “Antipolis” means “city across from Nice”. Later the city belonged to the Roman Empire and there are still some Roman artefacts such as aqueducts and amphora to be seen in Antibes.
Spend your holiday in this beautiful city, located in one of the most attractive regions in France!

Our French schools in Antibes

Antibes Lessons might take place in the school's garden.

Our school is one of the best in France, being one of the first awarded with "FLE - Francais langue étrangère – French as a foreign language”. The main building “Le Château” is built in Provencal style and surrounded by a beautiful garden. From the terrace you can enjoy a wonderful view over the harbour and the "Baie des Anges". The school is located in a quiet area, only a short walk from both the city centre and the sea.
The classrooms are bright and have modern equipment; there are also some outdoor classrooms available. Besides this, the school offers a self-service restaurant, an internet café and a library. For some dates, lessons take place in the building of “Le Port” in the old town of Antibes. It is located right behind the historic city wall built by Vauban, and only 30 metres away from the harbour. From the second floor you have a great view over the city wall, the harbour with its luxury yachts and the “Baie des Anges” with the majestic Alps in the background.
Our language courses are attended by students from all over the world (average age 25 years) and have been designed specifically for language learners who are visiting a foreign country for a short period. Maximum class size is 12 in the General French Course, and 4 or 6 in the other language courses.
All our teachers are native speakers and qualified in teaching French as a foreign language. Teaching material is provided.
