Spanish school Barcelona
Learn Spanish in the trendy city on the Costa Brava
Barcelona, the capital of Catalonia, has about 1.9 million inhabitants and is located in the north-east of Spain. The lively city, which immediately enchants many tourists, has everything a large city needs – art, culture and an active nightlife. It’s international atmosphere and the proximity of several Mediterranean beaches, make Barcelona a perfect holiday destination.
The Olympic City, where the Summer Olympics of 1992 took place, is always worth seeing. For art enthusiasts, Barcelona will be the “Mecca of Spain” – the creations of Picasso and Miró can be admired here as well as the famous Sagrada Familia, the Parque Güell or La Pedrera of Gaudi, to name a few. Barcelona’s surroundings offer several towns worth a visit, such as Sitges, Figueres (with the famous Dalí house), Ampurias or Gerona. The Pyrenees and the French border can easily be reached. Barcelona has two official languages – the inhabitants speak Catalan as well as Castilian.
This trendy town is the ideal destination to combine a holiday with beach, sun and sea with our Spanish school!
