The seaside resort is one of the most popular destinations in France and attracts many tourists from all over the world every year. The white beaches of the neighbouring town of Anglet are known as a paradise for surfers and swimmers.
Typical French atmosphere can be experienced in Bayonne, where the famous street festival, the Fête de Bayonne, takes place at the beginning of August. Your French language schools in Biarritz

Our school is located near the centre of Biarritz (20 minutes on foot) in a modern and spacious building. The school has got 15 bright, air-conditioned classrooms as well as an internet room and a recreation room.
Our language courses are attended by students from all over the world and the maximum class size is 17. All teachers are native speakers and qualified in teaching French as a foreign language. Teaching material is provided. You’ll take a placement test upon arrival, which determines your course level. At the end of the course, you’ll receive a certificate indicating your language level according to the Common European Framework of Reference.
The school offers guided tours, social evenings and trips. Some of the activities are included in the price, others can be booked on arrival for an additional fee.

French Language courses

General French Course: 20 lessons (x 45 mins) per week
This course covers grammar, listening, reading and above all communication. The course normally takes place in the morning from 9.30 a.m. to 1.00 p.m., from Monday to Friday.
The following language levels are catered for: elementary (A1), lower intermediate (A2), intermediate (B1), upper intermediate (B2), advanced (C1), and proficiency (C2).

Intensive French Course: 30 lessons (x 45 mins) per week
The course takes place in the morning from 9.30 a.m. to 12.45 p.m., from Monday to Friday with additional lessons in the afternoon from Monday to Thursday. The course is based on the General Course and recesses certain aspects of the language in the afternoon lessons.
The following language levels are catered for: elementary (A1), lower intermediate (A2), intermediate (B1), upper intermediate (B2), advanced (C1), and proficiency (C2).

Accommodation

Home stay: You may stay in single rooms with one of our friendly home stay hosts, most of whom have been welcoming students for many years. Some live close to the school while others are a short walk or a bus-ride (max. 30 minutes) away. You’ll get half-board accommodation with breakfast and dinner from Monday to Friday and full-board accommodation at the weekend.

How to get there?

Take the train to Biarritz or fly into Biarritz airport. The transfer from/to your home-stay accommodation is already included.

Course start dates

The school opens from 31st of May until the 27th of August 2010.
Within this time you can start your course every Monday except for Public Holidays. If your course starts on a public holiday you will start on the Tuesday. Accommodation is available from the Sunday before your course starts to the Saturday after its completion.

There are no classes on the following public holidays: 14th July.
There are no refunds for classes not taught on public holidays.
Minimum stay is two weeks.
