Spanish schools in Madrid – Learn Spanish in the heart of Spain!

Madrid

Located south of the impressive mountains of the Sierra de Guadarrama, right in the centre of the country, the capital of Spain is also its political and cultural centre. With about 4 million inhabitants it is not only the largest city in Spain but also the third largest in Europe, after London and Berlin. The palace of the Spanish king can be seen here as well as many galleries and museums, such as the famous Prado. You will also find beautiful parks, historic sites, lots of shopping possibilities and of course a unique nightlife scene. Though being a modern city with well developed infrastructure, Madrid has succeeded in preserving the historic look and feeling of many of its streets, buildings and places.
The central location also makes Madrid an ideal starting point for excursions into the surrounding area, and El Escorial, Toledo, Segovia and Ávila are popular trip destinations. Take advantage of learning Spanish in a modern metropolis!
