German courses - summer in Frankfurt:
learn German in Germany’s economic centre
Frankfurt stands on the banks of the River Main and is the centre of Europe’s currency. Once a vital inland port and centre of trade, it is now Europe’s largest financial centre after London. For many, Frankfurt is called “Manhattan”, due to the great number of skyscrapers. With our German courses you will be able to spend your holiday in this impressive town with its fascinating mixture of tradition and modernity.
A closer look reveals a city of many charms; the houses are picturesque and many have been restored in the city centre. The unique ‘Museum Mile’ along the banks of the river is a delightful area to take a stroll and sample some of the delicious local food and drinks.
In the very heart of Frankfurt, you will find the Römer, the historical square, and the Paulskirche, the cradle of German democracy. Frankfurt also offers a lot of natural beauty, with a great municipal forest and green spaces all around the city centre.
Spent your summer in Frankfurt, and discover the many different aspects of one of the largest towns in Germany!

The language school in Frankfurt

Our German school is located in Frankfurt-Sachsenhausen, only a 10-minute walk away from the heart of the city. Sachsenhausen is said to be the most elegant district of the city. Actually, it has two parts: The old section where you amble along narrow cobblestone streets amidst tiny gabled houses and the fancier area of Sachsenhausen that boasts charming cafés and boutiques. The school itself has a café bar and a veranda where you can relax between lessons. Also the banks of the River Main, popular places to sit and chat on a sunny day, are only a few minutes away.
Our language courses are attended by students from all over the world and have been designed specifically for young people, who are visiting a foreign country for a short period. Maximum class size is 15. All teachers are native speakers and qualified in teaching German as a foreign language. Teaching material is provided.
You’ll take a placement test upon arrival, which determines your course level. The following levels are catered for: elementary (A1), lower intermediate (A2), intermediate (B1), upper intermediate (B2) and advanced (C1). At the end of the course, you’ll receive a certificate indicating your language level according to the Common European Framework of Reference Levels.
