Summer German courses in the Rhine Valley.
You now have a wonderful opportunity to improve your German or English and to meet students from Germany and other countries on the banks of the Rhine. Our English and German summer courses take place in a real medieval castle in the town of Oberwesel, close to the famous Loreley. Oberwesel is perfect for younger students. It's a small, safe and pretty town in the Rhine valley, one of Germanys most popular and most beautiful regions.
The narrow streets with their beautiful medieval houses, towers and churches create a nice atmosphere for a stay in Germany and you will certainly feel like a real knight or a real lady during your day in Oberwesel as lessons and most of our activities take place in the medieval hall and in the courtyard of the castle.

The campus
Our International Team is happy to welcome you to the historic castle of Schönburg, situated just a 15 minutes walk away from the town centre on a hilltop overlooking the River Rhine and the town of Oberwesel. The castle has been welcoming young people from all over the world for many years.
German students will also be present on campus. They will attend an English language course and participate in the programmed afternoon and evening activities.
The traditional classrooms and the IP Ocean Lounge, where one can listen to music, check out Emails, relax and meet friends, are also situated in the castle. The IP Fruit 'n' Fit - Corner offers you all day long water, tea and fruit. The IP centre offers a wide range of recreational facilities. Give table tennis a go or express your creativity by joining one of our workshops. Sports fields for soccer, basketball and volleyball are within easy reach (downhill 10 minutes). There is a payphone and a launderette on the campus and safe storage for valuables is available in the IP Office.
