Europa School of English in Bournemouth was founded in 2004 with the aim to provide exclusive English courses for adults in a supportive and international learning atmosphere. Since 2009 IP International Projects has been its parent company.
Due to IP’s 30th anniversary we asked Charlotte Fisher, the General Manager, a few questions about the partnership and the school’s development.
Your thoughts of 30 years of IP
A great company with a fantastic team of enthusiastic talented people.
How did Europa School of English start?
I founded Europa School of English Ltd in 2004 with a friend and at that time together we did all the roles in the company – teacher, cleaner, welfare officer, receptionist and social coordinator!
How has the school developed since the partnership in 2009?
Europa was originally a school focussed on the teaching of English to adult students in Bournemouth only. Since the partnership with IP we have been able to branch out into the teaching of junior students all over the South Coast. We have been able to introduce new products and have in 2014 moved into our amazing new premises, a converted church, in the heart of Bournemouth close to the sea and the shops.
How does the partnership of Europa and IP work?
As a smaller business Europa is able to adapt quickly to the needs and requirements of its customers. Working together with IP with our international staff is easy because we all have the same goal – to provide the best service to our clients.
It’s a special relationship because of the people involved – all from a diverse range of backgrounds coming together to deliver an exceptional product.
What are your plans, expectations and wishes for Europa and IP in the future?
We are planning on continuing the great work that has been done so far at the Company and carry on with the improvements to our products. We would like to offer an even more diverse range of courses and offers along with introducing some exciting new locations for our students to discover.
