Junior Summer Courses
Germany - Hohensolms

  • You’ll meet German students around your own age
  • Accommodation in a real medieval hill castle
  • Small and safe village (only 1 hour from Frankfurt)

You now have a wonderful opportunity to improve your German or English and to meet students from Germany and other countries. Our English and German summer courses take place in a real medieval hill castle overlooking the Lahn-Dill Highlands. Situated between historic towns like Giessen, Limburg, Marburg and Wetzlar, the small and safe village of Hohensolms is perfect for younger students. You will certainly feel like a real knight or a real lady during your day in Hohensolms as lessons and most of our activities take place in the medieval hall and in the courtyard of the castle.

The Campus

Our International Team is happy to welcome you to the historic castle of Hohensolms, situated just a 5 minute's walk away from the village of Hohensolms. The castle has been welcoming young people from all over the world for many years.
German students will also be present on campus. They will attend an English language course and participate in the programmed afternoon and evening activities.
Also situated in the castle are modern classrooms and the IP Ocean Lounge where you can listen to music, use the free Wifi, relax and meet friends. The IP Fruit 'n' Fit Corner offers you all day long water, tea and fruit. The IP centre offers a wide range of recreational facilities. Give table tennis a go or express your creativity by joining one of our workshops. Sports facilities for soccer, beach volleyball and basketball are also situated on campus.
