Are you planning your holidays for the next year but have no ideas? What about a language course abroad? Jessica went to Exmouth this summer and really enjoyed her stay there. Read it and get some ideas for your journey!
I participated in a language course organized by IP. Now I would like to tell you something about my experienced I did during my stay in Exmouth.
I chose Exmouth because it is a small and comfortable City. I wanted to go there to practice my English and my friend told me many great things about travelling with IP.
We had lessons from 9 o’clock till 12:30. I liked the lessons because it was casual but nevertheless I learned a lot. The teachers tried their best to offer us interesting lessons. So we did a lot of group work and asked natives people a lot of questions.
After lessons I joined the activity programme. Every day we had a big choice between different workshops.
Often we went to the beach which was very beautiful and a great place to relax.
One day we met a nice man, who brought his pet with him. Imagine: it wasn’t a cat or a dog! No – it was a lizard! We were allowed to touch it and it felt very strange.
At 5 o’clock we went home to our host families. I really enjoyed my stay there. They asked me about my day and how everything is going. We had dinner at 6 o’clock. The house was very clean and I had three nice housemates from Germany and the UK. I became with friends with a nice girl from Schleswig Holstein in Germany. We laughed a lot and made some funny pictures of ourselves.
In the evening we took place in many funny events and on the weekend I went on a trip to London. It was amazing! Everybody should go there.
I joined the second weekend with my host family.
We watched a show with airplanes and fireworks. It was a big spectacle! Afterwards we had dinner in a beautiful restaurant.
During my stay in Exmouth I made a lot of experiences and improved my English a lot. I recommend it to everyone. I had a great time and became friends with people from all over the world!
Best wishes, Jessica-Chantal
