I’m just 5 days here and I love it.
The first day was Saturday it was very cool because when we arrived we first went at our host family’s house and could chill out for some hours. After it we went the first time to school to meet for the town walk. Sunday was for the host family and you to get to know each other. Then some girls and I met and went Sunday shopping. A new experience. And at 2 pm. we all meet to play at the beach in the sun we missed at the day before. After it we were picked up by our host families and ate dinner.
At Monday the test was there and we were a little bit scared but it wasn’t as difficult as I thought. The rest of the lesson was playing English word games. And not only Germans are here. People from Spain, Switzerland, France and Netherland are also here. We have different activities every day so you can choose like between Pimp your T-shirt and Football. If you don’t like any of them you can also go alone with friends to town or where ever you want.  At Monday evening was the Welcome Party with the theme “cross dress” . It was very funny to see boys in dresses and with eye shadow. After some dancing games everybody danced at songs like “Ai Se te pego” with the fitting moves.
At the next morning we had lessons and then again free time or activities with beautiful weather. At Tuesday some boy and girls also went to Exeter as a half day trip. At Wednesday was it extra cool because it was my 16th birthday. The weather was very good and the ip-Team started a sandcastle competition and cricket game at the beach. It was much fun so far.

So my result is:
Exmouth is really beautiful. It’s too cold to swim but an in-door swimming pool is there. It’s really easy to find friends if you go and join the activities. And at last the weather is changing every day.

The second part of my time in Exmouth was much more fun than the first.
The weather changed and we had over 20 °C.
At Saturday the new students from Germany arrived. The students from Spain and some from Germany went back home. A big part of the group who had already been a week at Exmouth went to London. Some as a full day trip and some as an over-night trip. The people who stayed at Exmouth had free time. I went to Exeter. The ticket to get there and return costs only £3.90. When you arrive at the central station your already in the “shopping-centre”.
The weather at Sunday was so great that we went swimming at the beach. There are many things to do at the Beach. You can play volleyball, eat something, go swimming or go to the fun fair (until the 27.8.12). The swimming is a little bit complicated because only a small part of the beach is for swimming and this part is nearly at the end of the beach.
At Monday we made friendship Bracelets at the beach. At the workshop we first had new contact to the new people. At in the evening we had the welcome party with the theme “Black&White”. So we dressed up and went to the community college. But this time the party started with games to know each other. And after it we danced.
At Wednesday we made our own movie which we will present at Friday at the IP Oscers.
Hope it will be fun.
