When Covid-19 prevents us from travelling abroad and from enjoying fun-filled summer language holidays in France, we have the perfect solution for you: Our live online French course! It allows you to meet your native French teacher and students from many different countries online and to learn together in our virtual classroom.
The online course consists of 20 lessons of 45 minutes per week. Our qualified French teachers will teach you in video chats. Prior to the course start we kindly ask you to do an online French test to identify your language level and to put you in the right class. We will send you a link to the test and ask you to do it until the Wednesday prior to the start of the course.
The course takes place from Monday to Friday with lessons from 90:00 to 12:20 (breaks included) for countries like Germany, France, Italy, Spain and all other countries on the same time zone.
Intensive French Course
Each of the lessons focuses on a specific area of language learning: grammar and language work, reading and listening, or communicative activities and speaking practice. Our aim is to provide you with the vocabulary and grammar required for effective communication. Our teacher will invite you to a video chat with maximum 10 participants. Bevor the start you will do an online placement test so that we can put you in a group according to your level.
The following levels are catered for: elementary (A2), pre-intermediate (B1), upper intermediate (B2).
Of course we cannot put everything that we offer during our summer language holidays in the UK in our Online English Course, but we would like you to socialise with your fellow students and to have some fun together by offering one online activity every week. This can be a quiz, some sport activities like a workout or dancing, games, workshops or a conversation club. What is for sure? – That you will have lots of fun!
The online activity takes place on Thursdays from 14.00 to 15.30 (GMT+1).
If you follow us on Instagram you get the chance to participate in fun challenges and keep in touch with your friends from all over the world.
Tipps and tricks for successful home schoolingYour work space
Preparation is everything: Make sure you have everything prepared before the lessons start. Charge your laptop or put the charger close to you, have your teaching materials, a pen and paper ready, get your head phones if you’d rather use head phones, have a nice breakfast and get something to drink for the lessons.
Get active during the breaks
Use the breaks to move a little, have a little snack and get some fresh energy for the next lesson. You will have 4 lessons of 45 minutes each every morning. After the second lesson there is a break.
Try to focus on the English Course and nothing else. Do not check other things on your computer during the lessons and even if it might be difficult put your phone away during the lessons. You can check it during the breaks and the rest of the day.
