Centre Administrators are responsible for numbers, keys and lists. If you have experience in administration and you love working with Excel – this is your chance! As a reliable person with good communication skills you will need to have some patience. Together with the Centre Manager, the Safeguarding and Supervision Coordinator and the Programme Organizer you are one of the management team members with some responsibilities for the whole summer season.

Your tasks

  • administrative and organizational tasks
  • management of a cash account
  • interpretation and usage of specific data which is relevant for the running of the centre
  • room allocation to fulfil customers´ requests
  • transferring exact numbers of students to partners and head offices e. g. for meals as a basis for invoicing
  • preparing welcome packs and print materials
  • keeping head offices informed regarding accommodation requirements
  • cooperating with Accommodation Officers and other relevant personnel
  • purchase of materials corresponding to budgets
  • supporting the Centre Manager and the team

Your profile

  • availability from 17/06/2019 until 03/09/2019
  • you are part of the long-term management team
  • very good English language skills
  • very good language skills of the language spoken in the destination
  • work experience in tourism or in other commercial fields (internships, apprenticeship, etc.) and basic understanding of commercial matters
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • flexible, reliable, good communication skills, able to use initiative, able to work under pressure and independently, good organisational skills, sense of responsibility

Conditions of Service

  • Pay: 200,00 GBP weekly
  • full-board accommodation
  • First Aid Certificate (8 hours, not older than 2 years)
  • police clearance certificate (when the contract is concluded)
  • safeguarding training completed

Pre-Conditions

  • successful participation in our assessment centre for management positions in Ratzeburg (Germany) from the 29th April till the 2nd of May 2019
  • a successful participation in our obligatory international training in Ratzeburg (Germany) from the 2nd May till the 5th May 2019
  • on-the-job training within the destination
