Supervision and Safeguarding Coordinator

As Supervision and Safeguarding Coordinator you are responsible for the management of our supervisors in the centre. Your function as head of supervision is to assure that all our participants are well supervised at all times. You have a pedagogical background and you have already gained experience working with children and/or teenagers and you have got very good English language skills. You are able to manage and organize a supervision team and you ensure our supervision framework is implemented according to our standards.

Your tasks

  • Management of the supervision team in one of our centres
  • Management, guidance and organization of the supervision staff in accordance with our supervision concept
  • First point of contact for the participants in the centre
  • Ensuring full and age-appropriate supervision of all participants
  • Administrative supervision tasks, responsible for the necessary supervision documentation
  • Ensuring our supervision concept is implemented according to our quality standards
  • Ensuring our safeguarding policy in the centre is adhered to
  • Responsibility for our daily blog entries for the centre (photos, reports, videos)
  • Part of the long-term management team in the centre
  • Help and assist our participants with all their needs during their stay

Your profile

  • availability from 17/06/2019 until 03/09/2019
  • you are part of the long-term management team
  • very good English language skills
  • Experience working with children and/or teenagers
  • Ability to manage an international team of supervisors
  • Good organisational skills
  • Communicative, reliable, open-minded
  • Ability to work independently and under pressure

Conditions of Service

  • Pay 200,00 GBP weekly
  • full-board accommodation
  • First Aid Certificate (8 hours, not older than 2 years)
  • police clearance certificate (when the contract is concluded)
  • safeguarding training completed

Pre-Conditions

  • successful participation in our assessment centre for management positions in Ratzeburg (Germany) from the 29th April till the 2nd of May 2019
  • a successful participation in our obligatory international training in Ratzeburg (Germany) from the 2nd May till the 5th May 2019
  • on-the-job training within the destination
