Young Adults Coordinator

As Young Adults Coordinator you are responsible for the overall running of the Young Adults Programme in Bournemouth. If you already gained experience in leaderships and if you are available for the whole summer season, this could be the right job for you. We require you to deliver a very high level of service and you have to speak English fluently. The job of the Young Adults Coordinator is a big challenge and could be a great opportunity for you this summer!

Your tasks

  • management and planning of the Young Adults programme
  • assistance of the Operations Manager
  • interpretation and utilization of specific data which is relevant for the running of the centre
  • preparing welcome packs and print materials
  • running the welcome meetings
  • customer relationship and complaint management
  • representative tasks within the destination
  • organisational tasks
  • first point of call and emergency contact for Young Adults students in Bournemouth
  • safeguarding manager for the Young Adults students
  • interface between the Junior and the Adult school
  • transfer management of Young Adults students if applicable
  • management of the Young Adults reception
  • cooperation with partners within the destination

Your profile

  • availability from 17/06/2019 until 03/09/2019
  • you are the head of the long-term management team
  • very good English language skills
  • clear understanding of the concept of customer service in tourism
  • intercultural competence
  • team working skills
  • good organisational and time-management skills, ability to work independently and under pressure

Conditions of Service

  • Pay: 300,00 GBP weekly
  • Full-board accommodation
  • First Aid Certificate (8 hours, not older than 2 years)
  • police clearance certificate (when the contract is concluded)
  • safeguarding training completed

Pre-Conditions

  • successful participation in our assessment centre for management positions in Ratzeburg (Germany) from the 29th April till the 2nd of May 2019
  • a successful participation in our obligatory international training in Ratzeburg (Germany) from the 2nd May till the 5th May 2019
  • on-the-job training within the destination
