ENGLISH COURSES in the UK

General English Course

Our General Course gives students a strong foundation across all key language skills, helping them communicate more confidently and effectively. Lessons combine speaking, listening, reading, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation through engaging, interactive activities. Particular emphasis is placed on speaking and listening, giving students plenty of opportunities to use the language, express their ideas and build fluency in real-life situations.

  • 15 × 45-minute lessons per week
  • Monday to Friday (9.00 to 11.45)
  • Levels from Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1)
  • Minimum stay: 1 week

Intensive English with Employability Skills (FSL – Formazione Scuola-Lavoro)

Our FSL programme combines English language development with practical employability and workplace skills, giving students the opportunity to explore the world of work in an international environment. Students follow the General English programme alongside five additional lessons focused on themes such as communication in the workplace, teamwork, career awareness, professional skills and preparing for future study and employment. English becomes the working language through which students communicate, collaborate and explore their future possibilities.

  • 20 × 45-minute lessons per week
  • General English + 5 employability-focused lessons
  • Monday to Friday (9.00 to 12.30)
  • Minimum stay: 1 week

Trinity GESE Preparation Course

Our Trinity GESE Preparation Course combines General English with focused preparation for the Trinity College London Graded Examinations in Spoken English (GESE). Five additional lessons each week give students focused practice in speaking and listening, helping them develop confidence, improve their communication skills and become familiar with the types of tasks and interaction required in the examination. Students benefit from targeted language practice, interactive activities and exam-style tasks while continuing to develop their overall English through the General Course.

  • General English + 5 Trinity GESE preparation lessons
  • Monday to Friday (9.00 to 12.30)
  • Minimum stay: 1 week
  • Please note: This course provides exam preparation only. The Trinity GESE examination itself is not included.

Mini-Group Intensive English Course

For students looking for a more personalised learning experience, our Mini-Group Intensive Course offers more individual attention, more speaking time and greater opportunities to focus on individual learning needs.
The course follows the same overall structure as our Intensive English Course, but with a maximum of 8 students per class, allowing teachers to respond more closely to students' strengths, interests and areas for development.

  • 20 × 45-minute lessons per week
  • Maximum 8 students per class
  • Levels from Pre-Intermediate (A2) to Advanced (C1)
  • Monday to Friday (9.00 to 12.30)
  • Minimum stay: 1 week
  • If a suitable Mini-Group is not available at the student's level, they join a General English class for the first three lessons and receive an individual lesson during Lesson 4, focusing specifically on their learning needs.

General course of English or French

The General Course (15 lessons per week) forms the core of our language programme. Classes run from Monday to Friday, 09:00–11:45, and focus on the key skills needed for effective communication.
Morning lessons cover:

  • grammar and language use
  • reading and listening comprehension
  • interactive speaking practice

Special emphasis is placed on speaking and listening, helping students build confidence and overcome hesitation when using the language. The course is available for levels Elementary (A1) to Advanced (C1), with a minimum duration of one week.

Courses in Ebernburg, Germany

Lessons are conducted on our scenic campus within the castle. Our courses adhere to the European Framework of Reference Levels for Language Learning.
We offer courses at various levels, including Elementary (A1), Pre-Intermediate (A2), Intermediate (B1), and Upper Intermediate (B2).
We offer a unique project unit where students collaborate to create podcasts, movies, etc. This unit not only enhances language skills but also fosters teamwork, time management, and the ability to give feedback. The unit spans approximately 8 lessons.
Intensive German Course (20x45 minutes/15 hours per week): levels A1 to B2, lessons from 9:00-12:30 including breaks.
