Our Supervision Concept
Our trained International Team runs a partly-supervised activity programme, ensuring safety and fun based on student age and parental consent. Supervision is divided into age groups with specific ratios to provide appropriate care and oversight.
Our staff ratio on campus for the age group 10-12 years is 1:10, however supervision groups during activities on or off campus will have different ratios of up to 15 students for 10-12 years old depending on the situation.
10 to 12 year olds
Our supervision ratio is 1:10. The activity programme is mandatory. Students are not allowed to leave the campus unsupervised. We offer daily town walks, but parental permission for solo trips off-campus is not allowed. Students aged between 10 and 12 receive thorough supervision with close attention to their well-being and safety.
Exeter is also available for teenager aged 13 to 17. Click here for more details.
Time to Talk
You will be in separate TTT (Time to Talk) groups of up to 15 children per group. In the lunchtime TTT you tell your supervisor what you want to do in the afternoon and the supervisor will put you in the respective sign-up list which will be checked when the programme starts. The same happens at the dinner time TTT for the evening event.
